Find Your Way To Better Sleep

Refreshing sleep is so important. It is a time when information and skills we learn during the day get solidified into long-term memories and when our bodies conduct day-to-day repairs. Sleep also plays a crucial role in maintaining the steady pattern of our daily circadian rhythms that effect stress, digestion, blood sugar, detoxification, blood pressure and more.

There are a host of reasons why many people don’t get enough sleep:

  • Hormone imbalance
  • Sleep apnea
  • Anxiety
  • Chronic pain
  • Movement disorders
  • Circadian rhythm disorders
  • Lifestyle factors
  • And many more...

All of these things can cause or contribute to sleep issues. Sadly and ironically, insomnia can contribute to insomnia in a vicious cycle where one becomes more and more traumatized by lying awake, thinking about one’s inability for fall asleep.

For many people, the mere thought of bedtime holds its own feelings of trauma, frustration and stress.

The reasons behind insomnia or other sleep disorders are a unique combination of factors for each individual and the treatments that work for one person, often do little for the next. I have found that most people need their own specially tailored treatment plan to begin to correct this complex cycle.

Let’s work together to get you sleeping well, and start making bedtime something to look forward to again.
